When I go fishing, I play a little game and guess how many flies I’m going to lose compared to how many beers I’m going to drink. And more often than not, the only thing I catch is a buzz. But I enjoy being outside, trying to find fish, and, if I do, trying to telepathically convince the fish to bite whatever is tied to the end of my line.
I’m told the majority of people who fish aren’t too different than I am, which is why you should know about the 2021 Fly Fishing Film Tour (F3T).
Premiering virtually this year, the F3T gave me a great excuse to spend a night at home watching something other than Netflix. Plus, I could watch and learn about other people who fish much better than I do. Best of all, I could still drink beer.
